INDIAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION

While ISA welcomes all Indian people on the campus, we especially welcome LGBT folks to the campus. Being gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer is still stigmatized in India and many other places across the world. Here at ISA Michigan, we stand against all forms of stigma and discrimination and firmly believe in equality and respect for all individuals. Thus we stand against derogatory gay and trans phobe jokes, and believe in providing safe space to everybody and especially LGBT folks. To accomodate LGBT people better on our campus, we request them to reach out to us freely if they need any help (while we promise to maintain their privacy if they are not out).
